The EVITA work request system (your Expert Vancouver IT Assistant) has moved to the Jira system, which is used by the rest of the WSU campuses. By moving to this system, it is now much easier to collaborate with IT departments on the other campuses, and the members of Tech Support have already found themselves being more productive in the new system.
You'll notice some changes in the way the new system communicates but the underlying functionality is rather similar to the previous system. Most people will continue to communicate through email but some may prefer to go through the EVITA website in Jira, which allows authenticated users to submit a ticket or search the knowledge base.
Vancouver IT staff will be tweaking things as necessary but if you have questions, problems, or other feedback for us about the new system, we would love to hear it. Please send us an email at email@example.com.
