The Center for Belonging, Equity and Unity
The Center for Belonging, Equity and Unity is located in the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. The center provides a welcoming place for everyone. The Office leads efforts for Goal 4 of WSU Vancouver’s strategic plan to promote an ethical and socially just society through an intentional commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
Centering and Holding SPACE
We create and uplift SPACE, a cohesive and strengths-based framing comprised of five action pillars that support the efforts of this office to build a community of equity, diversity, inclusion, belonging, excellence and love at WSU Vancouver.
Land Acknowledgment
Washington State University Vancouver is located on the homelands of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe and Peoples of the Lower Columbia Valley. We acknowledge their presence here.
