Campus operations delayed until noon today

WSU Vancouver is operating on a delayed schedule Wednesday, Jan. 17 due to inclement weather. On-campus operations will resume at noon today. Faculty with morning classes are encouraged to offer remote instruction. Students, check with your instructor about the status of morning classes. Employees, check with your supervisor about the possibility of remote work this morning. Essential personnel should report to work as scheduled if you are able to travel safely.

If plowing and/or de-icing is in progress when you arrive on campus, certain parking lots and pathways may be closed. In that case, park in open, plowed parking lots—regardless of parking permit type—and use pathways that are plowed and de-iced.

It is your responsibility to decide if you can safely commute to WSU Vancouver in the event of inclement weather while WSU Vancouver remains open for operations.

Staff members who are unable to report to work at WSU Vancouver during an inclement weather event should ask their supervisor if they may work from home.

If business needs allow and supervisors approve, overtime-eligible staff members may temporarily adjust their schedule to work additional hours during the work week (Sunday through Saturday) that the inclement weather occurred.
