Beyond Banned Books: Selecting vs. Banning

Deanna Day-Wiff, associate professor in the College of Education, will lead a discussion on the issues of censorship and the banning of books for children and teens. Day-Wiff will discuss the rights of children and teens as readers, how we can preserve these rights, and how selecting books versus banning books supports intellectual freedom.
