This Six Sigma training provides participants with advanced problem-solving skills using a proven DMAIC process (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control). By combining these skills with the Lean toolset, participants learn how to incorporate all the learned skills on a sponsored project to reduce waste, improve processing and reduce cycle time. Green belts are trained to lead their own project teams and serve as excellent team members for black belt projects which require more advanced analysis techniques (for larger gains).
After successfully completing this training, participants will earn a certificate of completion.
To get green belt certified, participants need to take a certification exam, such as through the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
Prerequisites
- An approved process improvement project with potential to save up to $50,000 for the company
- Basic statistics (recommended)
- Current version of Minitab software
- Laptop
