You will learn practical techniques to manage overwhelming stress and exhaustion and enhance your productivity, well-being, and joy. Through practice, guided mindfulness experiences, and personal and shared reflections, the course provides you with techniques for immediate application.

  1. Awareness and Integration
    • Understand signs of burnout
    • Develop awareness of personal stressors
    • Self-assessment exercise
    • Simple techniques for enhancing awareness, boosting resilience and changing state
    • Guided mindfulness experience to sharpen self-awareness, enhance focus, and practice conscious breathing
    • Personal and shared reflections to support development of personalized practices that support well-being
  2. Relaxation and Ongoing Practice
    • Learn supportive techniques and tools to relieve stress, recharge, rejuvenate and release negative emotions
    • Strategies to maintain ongoing stress management and break free from burnout
    • Guided relaxation practice incorporating multiple techniques
    • Personal and shared reflections to support continued creation of a personalized practice plan to support well-being

Maree

Maree Piplovick is the Owner/Facilitator of Practicing Inner Peace LLC - DBA, Breathe Flow Shine. With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Maree understands the feelings of overwhelm, exhaustion, and discouragement caused by burnout from cumulative stress. She knows firsthand the impacts of burnout on well-being, productivity, and the ability to thrive. After breaking free from burnout, Maree embarked on a new path to help others improve their well-being through simple and accessible self-care techniques. With a personalized approach, Maree creates transformative experiences that empower her clients to take control of their own well-being and reclaim their joy, focus, and zest for life. Maree has a B.A. in Business Administration and Management and was a small business Owner/IT Consultant for 20 years with a focus on software testing, training, implementations, and project support.

Cost

The instructional fee is $95, which includes a nonrefundable administrative fee of $75. See Registration for details.

Meetings and format

The course is delivered via Zoom videoconference with live instruction. To attend, you need a computer with webcam, microphone and high-speed internet.

Each Zoom session allows for live interactions with the instructor and other students via chat, web conferencing or phone, all in real time. Assignments and other materials will be available online through a web-based learning management system.
