Summer gathering: Cougar Kindness Rocks Garden Party

Bring your lunch and enjoy STONEtacular treats and chilled ROCKtails (mocktails on ice) along with a photo booth, rock music, a drawing (prizes will be announced throughout the event) and rock painting.

Paint a rock for yourself ORE be a GEM, and add your creation to the new Cougar Kindness Rocks rock garden. Be creative! Think of SEDIMENTAL messages of encouragement, inspiration, gratitude and GRIT that can be shared with students, staff and faculty.

This is the last gathering this summer. Sponsored by Finance and Operations.

Titan VanCoug Bloom Day!

Titan VanCoug, WSU Vancouver’s corpse flower, is blooming! Years ago, the plant’s corm (tuber) cloned. Now four plants reside in one pot. Along with the third bloom since 2019, fruit from the August 2022 bloom and a 12’ leaf are on display.

In-person viewing is available 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. today. Regular viewing hours, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday, resume next week. Campus is closed July 4.

Titan VanCoug T-shirts ($20) and totes ($10) will be for sale, today only, while supplies last. On-campus parking is free today.
