Producing campus publications

WSU Vancouver produces a number of campus publications, including newsletters, program brochures, recruiting materials, flyers, advertisements, HTML email, websites as well as other informational pieces for internal and external use. To ensure consistency of style and design, marketing and communications is the checkpoint for all publications designed for external use.

Marketing and communications is available to review all publications, and provide design and writing guidance.

Referencing Washington State University Vancouver

  • Upon first reference, Washington State University Vancouver should be spelled out.
  • WSU Vancouver or the Vancouver campus are proper second references.
  • Washington State University Vancouver should NOT be rendered as WSUV, WSU V, WSU-V, WSU/V or WSU at Vancouver.

Using the WSU Vancouver signature and logos

The logo can be downloaded. Please follow the logo guidelines when using.

This should be used on all university correspondence and publications, including letterhead, business cards and fax cover sheets. Letterhead, envelopes and business cards must be ordered from the Office of University Publications and Printing. Place orders online.

Cougar head logo

The copyrighted cougar head logo is a spirit mark for WSU and is used by student clubs, athletics and the alumni association.

Official University fonts

The official fonts of WSU are from the Stone family of fonts. These include Stone Serif and Stone Sans.

Font licenses must be purchased for each machine the font or font family is installed on. Licenses can be purchased online.
