Zoom videoconferencing for WSU launches July 9

All WSU students, faculty, and staff will have enterprise licenses to use Zoom videoconferencing beginning Monday, July 9. In addition to significant cost savings, Zoom provides a single tool to support both academic and business teleconferencing needs through integration with WSU’s current learning management system (Blackboard), new cloud authentication system (Okta), and will ultimately integrate well with WSU’s email and calendaring resources. The Zoom service is provided by a partnership of the WSU President’s office and WSU Information Technology Services.

As part of this licensing implementation, Zoom is offering user training on June 25.

Session 1: 9:00–10:30 a.m. ECS 125
Session 2: 1:00–2:30 p.m. ECS 125

(Training sessions cover the same topics, so end users only need to attend one session.)

This training is now available online for viewing after the training session. Watch the Zoom training on the Zoom project website.
