Rita Robillard Artist Talk and Reception

-
  • 11 a.m. – noon—Talk, Multimedia Classroom Building, Room 107
  • 12:30 – 2 p.m.—Reception, Dengerink Administration Building Gallery

Pacific Northwest artist and printmaker, Rita Robillard, will discuss her current exhibition, “Polarities and Votives” followed by a reception in the Dengerink Administration Building Gallery.

Robillard's work largely centers around the idea of place, both the physical environment and her idiosyncratic place within it. In “Polarities and Votives,” she juxtaposes visual and conceptual opposites through a laborious, multilayered process of painting and printmaking. Robillard taught at WSU Pullman from 1998 – 2013.
