Re-Imagined Radio presents four short science fiction stories by Jack J. Ward, an award-winning writer, director, actor, and producer of audio drama and more. The stories—"Galaxy Master versus the Varn," "Reservations," "Alien Invasion Cancelled" and "Trans-Humanity"—are part of Ward’s "Wavefront Anthology" series.
The episode is titled “Coast to Coast” because Ward lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia. That's about as far east as one can drive a car in Canada before running into the Atlantic Ocean. Learn more about the episode on Re-Imagined Radio’s website.
Re-Imagined Radio draws on community voice actors, Foley artists, musicians, sound artists and engineers. Partners include KXRW-FM, KXRY-FM, Marc Rose of Fuse Audio Design and Holly Slocum Design.
Re-Imagined Radio was begun by John Barber in 2013 to celebrate radio storytelling. “We select, produce and perform classic and contemporary stories across a spectrum of radio genres, from dramas to comedies, from oral to aural histories, from documentaries to fictions, from soundscapes to sonic journeys, from radio to sound art,” Barber said.
