Register for Racism and the Cycle of Socialization

Do you ever stop to think about where your opinions or biases come from? Further, how your ideas get formed into prejudices that begin to set a foundation for racist ideologies? This workshop will explore Harro's Cycle of Socialization, a model that shows how individual behaviors are learned and then systematically reinforced and perpetuated, and in response, the Cycle of Liberation to understand ways to consciously disrupt the cycle.
