BaCE: Deaf 102: Sign Supported Communication

This workshop is a continuation of Deaf 101. Faculty and staff will gain exposure to basic signs and expressions they can use in various University work settings (cafeteria, cougar center, bookstore, classrooms, etc.). You will learn how to meet and greet people who are Deaf, how to sign numbers and the manual alphabet, basics on how to answer questions, be polite and courteous, and some basic do’s and don’ts of Deaf etiquette.
