PRISM Employee Resource Group is here to make visible the LGBTQ+ community across campus by creating strong relationships on campus; establishing ourselves on campus to build awareness; opening possibilities of community for those who may not be able to find it; gathering with colleagues in a safe space for support and mentoring; being the voice of best practices for employing LGBTQ+ people; holding the institution accountable and engaging in collective action; providing resources and information to people; providing a service component; and to have fun!
Membership is open to all LGBTQ+ identified folks, advocates and allies within the WSU Vancouver community who receive pay in some form or another from the university. To become a member of this ERG, sign up for the mailing list and attend meetings when you can.
