WSU Vancouver Power Loss 11/27/16 at 12:05

WSU Vancouver experienced a 5 minute power loss at approximately 12:05 today (Monday 11/27/16) due to a traffic accident involving a PUD transformer at 72nd Ave and 159th St. Power is back on. WSU emergency generators started automatically. Main power for campus is back on and the WSU Schedule is operating normally. There may be further intermittent outages as PUD works to repair the problem with estimated completion by 2:00 today. Facilities Operations is working to restore services temporarily suspended by the outage.

Following receipt of a bomb threat on campus, a building search was concluded and there were no suspicious items located. Campus remains open.

WSU Vancouver received a bomb threat Wednesday afternoon Oct. 19 on the campus police line indicating there is a bomb in one of our buildings. Although we do not know if this is a credible threat, we are taking all necessary precautions and currently searching all buildings with our Public Safety and other authorities.

Campus remains open.
