WSU Vancouver telephones are out of service

Attention WSU Vancouver

Tuesday 9/10/2013
Campus telephones are not working due to an equipment malfunction. The outage includes all campus telephones AND Emergency Blue Light Phone Stanchions. Information Technology is working on the problem as a priority. Required parts and service are being procured with intent of returning service this evening or by morning tomorrow.

Please use cell phones during the outage to report emergencies or call 911.

Public Safety and Facilities staff are equipped with radios and are patrolling campus. If you have an emergency, please contact one of them for assistance.

Be aware of recent car prowls on campus

On 2/18/13 two vehicle prowls were reported on the WSU Vancouver campus. The back passenger side windows of both vehicles were broken out and items inside the vehicles were stolen.

This is a reminder to leave no possessions visible inside your vehicle. Please report any suspicious vehicles/people to 911 immediately or contact campus police at 360-546-9001.

Clark County Department of Public Health reports Pertussis (Whooping Cough) is at epidemic levels in Washington

Whooping cough has reached epidemic levels in Washington.

Babies are at highest risk, so it's important that everyone else get vaccinated to protect them! To get vaccinated, call your provider or pharmacy. Many pharmacies offer walk-in Tdap vaccinations. If you don’t have health insurance, you can contact Sea Mar Community Health Center at (360) 852-9070.
