Circulation Information
Fines
Books $.50 per day per item. Maximum fine is $125.00 per book ($100.00 replacement fee + $10 maximum fine + $15.00 processing fee). Exceptions to the standard replacement fee are Bound Journals, Video & Audio Media, materials shelved in locked compact storage and microfiche. The replacement fee for Microfiche is $25 and the replacement fee other items is $300.
Reserve & Other 2 hour Material: $2.00 per hour. 2-hour materials are fined at the same rate for all borrowers, regardless of special loan privileges extended to graduate students and faculty.
1,3 & 7 Day Reserve Material: $2.00 per day.
Recalled items:
- 1, 3, 7-day material: $2.50 per day.
- Hourly material: $2.50 per hour
- 30-day material: $1.00 per day
Videos/EIC Videos: $3.00 per day for every day the Library is open per item. Maximum fine is $90.00 per item.
EIC Lateral Files (Reports & Pamphlets): $.25 per day per item. Maximum fine is $10.00 per item.
Summit Items
Fines for items borrowed through Summit are higher and accrue at a faster rate. Ask at the Circulation Desk.
