Distance Degree Exam Proctoring – Vancouver

A nonrefundable fee of $15 must be paid BEFORE you take the test (see "Fee" below for more information). Beginning May 1, 2007, tests will be proctored in the Student Resource Center (lower level of the Student Services Center). Any questions or concerns should be directed to the Student Resource Center at (360) 546-9155 or .

Test Proctoring Schedule

  • Tuesdays: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. (September 23, 2009 – December 16, 2009)
  • Sundays: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Holiday Schedule

In observance of holidays, test proctoring will not be offered on the following dates. Please keep this in mind when scheduling.

Before you come in for the test, confirm the exam has arrived at the center. Depending on the distance education program you are in, you may be able to order several or all of your exams to be sent at one time.

NOTE: WSU Distance Degree students must request that exams be sent to the WSU Vancouver Exam Proctoring Center in the SRC through MyDDP in order to have their exam proctored at this location.

Completed exams are returned to the college or university by our staff. Please keep the following in mind:

  • We are able to Fed Ex or Express mail exams for students who provide the pre-paid mailing envelopes. We can also fax completed exams if this is allowed by the institution. Please plan to complete your exam in plenty of time before the deadline.
  • We can proctor computerized exams.
  • Exams not completed before the expiration date or within one year of receiving the exam will be destroyed.
  • If you arrive late, you may be asked to reschedule depending on the length of the exam and the proctor's schedule.
  • You must provide equipment such as blue book, calculator, scantron, writing utensils, or paper. The exam center cannot supply these items.

Rescheduling Test Proctoring Appointments & Cancellations

We try to be as flexible as possible with rescheduling student test proctoring appointments. Reschedules or cancellations need to be completed with the Student Resource Center during office hours (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) by email or phone BEFORE the scheduled test day. You will know that your test proctoring appointment has been successfully rescheduled or cancelled when you receive a scheduling confirmation email. If you do not receive this confirmation email, you must contact the Student Resource Center by calling (360) 546-9155. If a student does not arrive for a scheduled test proctoring appointment and has not previously contacted the Student Resource Center during office hours, this will be noted. After three occurrences of not honoring this policy, the student will be charged an additional $15.00.

Fee

There is a nonrefundable $15.00 fee per exam which much must be paid before the test. Payment can be made through the Cashier's Office on the upper level of the Student Services Center (VSSC) during office hours. Or you can pay by credit card over the phone by calling (360) 546-9593.

Location

Exam proctoring will be in the Student Resource Center (lower level of the Student Services Center). You will enter through the door on the south side of the building.

Arriving for the exam

A picture ID is required before taking each exam. Personal items will be stored away from the student. Cell phones need to be turned off. If you choose to leave the room for any reason after the exam begins, it will be documented.
