Who we are:
The Associated Students of Washington State University Vancouver (ASWSUV) is the official association for all registered students attending WSU Vancouver.
We are led by the elected and appointed members of student government who initiate and coordinate student activities in order to represent student interests,
needs, and welfare; and to supplement and complement formal education on the University campus.
Welcome Back BBQ a Knockout
WOW! What a crowd! As most of you know our annual welcome back barbecue was a huge hit. Hundreds turned out for free food, music, fun, and information. Rather you were dunking ASWSUV President George McCoy (or one of our other volunteers) in the dunk-tank, boxing in the over-inflated ring, or just enjoying the break from classes with a few friends everyone looked to be enjoying themselves. For those few who couldn't make it to this event there's lots more to come, so stay tuned!
Welcome Back
It's the start of another great year and we, your representatives, want to welcome you back and offer our best wishes for your success. A special welcome goes out to the first freshman and sophomore classes - remember, you are setting the bar for all who will follow.
Even though everyone is busy this week it's a good time to think about what you'll be doing outside of class. Stop by our Activities and Resources sections to find some things to help you unwind and get together with fellow classmates. If you're so inclined you might also think about getting involved behind the scenes. Information is available here.
