ROAR Orientation for Transfer Students
Congratulations! Now that you have been offered admission as a transfer student to WSU Vancouver you can begin to take care of student business. Advising, registering for classes and attending orientation are important tasks to promote success on our campus! We've created a checklist of things to do before classes begin.
Get signed up for ROAR, WSU Vancouver's Orientation program! It provides new students with the opportunity to learn about resources, explore areas of interest, and meet other new students, faculty and staff. You will also tour the campus, enjoy a great lunch in the plaza, and enter to win prizes.
The 1-day Orientation session on August 20th, the week before school begins, will kick off the start of the academic year. This program will aid you in getting comfortable with your new college setting.
ROAR is a full-day program and attendance is mandatory.
Your transition is an important time; Orientation will assist in familiarizing yourself with the new campus, community and peers.
