ROAR Program for Transfer Students
You are about to continue your college education and we welcome you to WSU Vancouver! New students have many items of business to complete prior to the start of the term. Registering for ROAR, our campus' New Student Orientation, is one of the first items to be done. ROAR will kick off the start of the academic year and you will begin to familiarize yourself with your new college setting.
You will receive a mailing with detailed information about advising and contact information for your advisor. Once this information is received, you will schedule an advising appointment. After being advised you will be able to register for classes according to your scheduled registration time.
All incoming transfer students are required to attend ROAR Orientation.
Fall-start Transfer Students
(August start)
ROAR consists of a mandatory ½ day Orientation program prior to the beginning of classes. Session times and reservations are not currently available; please check back as early as March for session details and agendas.
Spring-start Transfer Students
(January start)
ROAR consists of a mandatory Orientation program the week prior to spring semester. Reserve your spot for January Orientation and review the agenda for program details. We look forward to seeing you on January 5.
