Student Handbook — Reporting Concerns or Complaints
Students, staff, faculty, parents, and community members are encouraged to report complaints and concerns. Following is a listing of appropriate reporting agencies for campus-related concerns.
When in doubt, call WSU Vancouver Public Safety at 546-9001 for assistance.
| CRIME, such as hate crimes, sexual assault, assault, drug use or sale, vandalism, etc. | Call WSU Vancouver Police at 911. |
| Student-to-student related issues, such as violations of: Student Conduct Code, assaults, sexual assaults, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, harassment, bias-related incidents, discrimination, theft, etc. | In case of a crime, contact 911. For immediate assistance in other situations, contact the Office of Student Affairs at 546-9559. |

| Student complaints regarding staff or faculty, such as sexual harassment, discrimination, academic concerns. | Contact the Area Coordinator of the Department or the Center for Human Rights in Pullman at (509) 335-8288. |
| Student-staff complaints regarding work issues or work environment. | Contact your supervisor or WSU Vancouver Human Resource Services at 546-9595. |

No individual shall be penalized or face retaliation in any way by a member of the University community for initiation or participation in a complaint procedure.
