Contained on this page is a list of scholarship resources. These scholarships are not awarded by WSU, but by various organizations. The application process for these varies per award. Information regarding how to apply is listed with each scholarship.

- Have close cultural and social ties to an American Indian tribe and/or American Indian community in Washington State
- Agree to use your education to benefit other American Indians
- Have demonstrated financial need (as determined by the college financial aid office)
- Be a Washington State resident
- Be enrolled, or intend to enroll full time at an eligible Washington college or university for fall
- Not be pursing a degree in theology

- Are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian and Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American;
- Are a citizen/legal permanent resident or nationals of the United States;
- Have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (un-weighted);
- Will be enrolling for the first-time at a U.S. accredited* college or university as a full-time, degree-seeking, first-year student in the fall of 2010; or GED
- Have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other activities;
- Meet the Federal Pell Grant* eligibility criteria; and
- Have all three forms (Nominee Personal Information Form completed by the student, Nominator Form completed by an educator familiar with the student’s academic record and a Recommender Form completed by a person familiar with the student’s leadership and community service) submitted by the deadline.

- Be of Hispanic Heritage: persons descended from Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican, Central American (excluding Belize), South American (excluding Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana), or other Spanish cultures
- Be a US citizen OR legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
- Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent)
- Be pursuing or plan to pursue your first undergraduate or graduate degree
- Must apply for federal financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

| IES Legacy Scholarships |
| Award |
A $750 credit toward an IES semester program or a $300 credit for an IES summer program that will be noted on your IES invoice. |
| Criteria |
Be accepted to and attend an IES program. Have a parent, legal guardian, grandparent, or sibling who attended a past IES program.
- Attend a college or university that transfers at least 75% of home school aid to IES. If you have any questions, please call 800.995.2300 or email us at admissions@IESabroad.org.
- Priority is given to applicants from schools that are a member or associate member of the IES Abroad Consortium.

| Criteria |
A women who has:
- Survived domestic violence (partner abuse) and is a citizen or permanent legal resident of the United States;
- Is officially accepted into an accredited course of study at a United States institution;
- Demonstrates a critical need for financial assistance;
- Exhibits strong desire, ability and determination to complete a training and/or academic program;
- Has a definite plan to use the desired training to upgrade skills for career advancement, to train for a new career field or to enter or reenter the job market,
- Sponsored by a non-profit, domestic violence service agency willing to provide mentoring support for the student throughout her educational experience.
