Applying for Financial Aid
Applying for Financial Aid at WSU is Simple!
Apply by submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year you wish to be considered for financial aid. The FAFSA may be filled out online or by completing and mailing the paper application. We strongly encourage students to file on the online for faster and more accurate results.
When you file a completed FAFSA, it is sent to the federal processing center. The results are forwarded to the colleges you have indicated on the form.

WSU's priority processing deadline is March 1. You may file your FAFSA as early as January 1 for the school year that begins that fall.
