Renewing the award

After the first year, you'll be eligible to renew the award if you maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, earn at least 24 graded credits per year, and retain residency outside the state of Washington.**

**To calculate the amount of the award, multiply resident tuition times 1.5, then subtract that amount from nonresident tuition. This will be the value of your scholarship. Because tuition rates vary annually, so will the amount of the award.
