Humanitarian Award

The Student Affairs Humanitarian Award was developed by WSU Vancouver's Office of Student Affairs to honor persons who are making significant contributions to the community with their time, actions and dedication. Students, Alumni and Registered Student Organizations may be nominated by any member of the WSU Vancouver community including: faculty, staff and current students.
Nominee Requirements:
Nominees must be current or former WSU Vancouver students of good academic standing (defined by the University as having a GPA of 2.0 or higher). WSU Vancouver Registered Student Organizations* must have active status at the time of nomination.

Selection Criteria
The recipient of the award should be an individual or group whose community contributions are in one or more of these areas:
- Social Justice
- Environmental Justice
- Economic or Social Equality
- Community Building
- Teaching/Education
- Child Advocacy
We are no longer accepting nominations for the 2008 Humanitarian Award. The recipient of the award will be announced at the Student Recognition Program on April 17th at 4:00 pm in the Firstenburg Student Commons.
