Mental Health and Counseling Services for Students, Faculty and Staff
Free counseling services are available to WSU Vancouver students, supported by S & A Fees.
Students - On Campus
Confidential counseling by a certified counselor is available for students Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call (360) 546-9238.
Students - Off Campus
WSU Vancouver provides counseling services for students through agencies in Vancouver and Longview. Access to these services is provided by referral only and may occur if the staff psychologist does not have current openings. Referral forms are available from the Student Resource Center.
Student Affairs staff members are available at (360) 546-9238 for students who wish to make an appointment. Current students have access to a limited number of free visits. Please see the Counseling website for more information.
Faculty and Staff
The Washington State Employee Assistance Program (EAP) helps employees from general government, universities, colleges and multiple governmental programs resolve personal or work-related problems. The program is voluntary, confidential, and available at no cost to both employees and their family members.
