No appointment necessary!
Please bring a picture ID, preferably your WSU Vancouver ID card, and two pens or pencils. We will supply the necessary forms and Blue Books. We will also provide a dictionary and thesaurus for your use.
The exam begins promptly, so plan to arrive a few minutes before the scheduled time.
While you cannot “study” for the Timed Writing Exam, you can look at the criteria listed at the bottom of the Writing Portfolio Packet available in the Bookie. This list will give you an idea of what qualities the readers are looking for in your writing. The Packet also provides detailed instructions for completing the Portfolio requirement.
