Requirements and Core Courses  - Zoology Track

All students pursuing the Zoology track will complete the requirements for a Bachelor of Science with a major in Biology

Students must meet all University General Education requirements and College of Sciences and specific degree requirements, which include additional degree electives. Students should consult the General Catalog for course planning and must meet course requirements as outlined in the General Catalog in order to graduate.

Chem 105 and 106—Principles of Chemistry I and II

Chem 345--Organic Chemistry
Phys 101 & 102 or 201 & 202—General Physics I and II
MBioS 303—Introductory Biochemistry
Biol 301—General Genetics
Biol 372—General Ecology
Biol 405—Principles of Organic Evolution
MBioS 401—Introduction to Cell Biology
Stat 412:  Biometry 

Zoology Minor:  Required Courses: Biol 321:  Animal Development; Biol 350:  Comparative Physiology;  plus four additional credits of upper division biological science courses focused on animals. No more than two hours of Biol 496, 498, 499 may be included.
