Fields of Study: Pre-Physician Assistant
Students interested in a career as a Physician Assistant should make an advising appointment with Dr. Dawn Banker during their first year of college. She will assist you in arranging your course schedule to include courses required as pre-requisites for application to Physician Assistant Programs.
WSU Vancouver faculty serving on the Pre-Health Professions Committee will also assist students in
- arranging internships and opportunities for volunteer work
- preparation of applications and personal statements
- improvement of interview skills through mock interviews
- providing letters of recommendation
