Mark Stephan, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Mark Stephan’s research is in the area of citizen involvement in environmental decision-making, with a particular focus on environmental information disclosure programs. He received his B.A. from the University of California , Santa Cruz , in 1990, and a Ph.D. in political science from Princeton University in the year 2000. His has been published in a variety of academic journals, including Social Science Quarterly, Environment and Behavior, and American Behavioral Scientist. Currently he is working with Drs. Michael Kraft and Troy Abel (both of the University of Wisconsin Green Bay) on a book project entitled, Coming Clean: Information Disclosure and Environmental Decision-Making (to be published by MIT Press).
