Hist 469: Seminar in History

A coherent program of study in history culminates with an original, substantial (20-30 pages) research paper, based upon primary sources, generally undertaken in the senior seminar, HIST 469. Students who have produced such a substantial research paper prior to enrollment in Hist 469 may petition to have it considered in lieu of taking Hist 469.
