The Washington State University Vancouver Writing Assessment office, located in the basement of the VMMC, administers the Writing Placement Exam for incoming freshmen and the Timed Write for the junior portfolio. The Writing Assessment Office has now made it easier for students to schedule times for both the Writing Placement and Timed Write (Junior Portfolio) session. In addition to visiting the WA office, you can now submit your preferred schedule to the Writing Assessment office online at:
