Business Student Partnership Program
ACHIEVE GOALS
The WSU Vancouver Business Programs curriculum emphasizes practical application of course work by having students conduct projects for local firms.
A typical class consists of lectures, discussions, assignments and one or more practical business projects that complement the first three activities. Students work in teams to solve a business problem that has been identified by a firm.
Businesses use the recommendations of students to help achieve their goals.
BUSINESS STUDENT PROJECTS
Firms interested in participating in a student project will be selected on the basis of how their needs best fit the teaching goals of the class. If a firm wishes to become a WSU Vancouver Business Student Partnership client, the firm should review the Project Information page, select a course from the Project Information page, and complete the Submit Your Project Idea form when applying to the program.
QUALITY
Projects are structured so that overall quality can be maintained. Quality is enhanced when the firm agrees on a written set of objectives at the beginning of the semester and provides evaluations and feedback to the professor and students on a regular basis.
WSU Vancouver's mature student body ensures a diligent approach to finding solutions.
