Fin 498   Internship

Course Overview
Cooperative educational internship with a business, government or nonprofit organization.

Internships are 3-credit, pass/fail courses with clear expectations and guidelines. Two internships can be done with two different organizations in the same semester with careful coordination between internship advisors. If the internship is located in the student’s place of employment, the internship must be outside of the student’s area of work and in a different section of the organization.


Fin 498 and/or Fin 499 (Special Problems) may count for No More than ONE of the Finance Elective requirements.
3 credits.

Course Prerequisites
An intern must be in good academic standing and have completed at least one semester as a Certified Business major. Please note that individual Business faculty may have additional criteria to secure their internship supervision.
