WSU Vancouver Film Students Present Annual Screening

Vancouver, Wash - Dr. Pavithra Narayanan's Documentary Film Theory & Production Class at Washington State University Vancouver presents the fifth annual screening of student films, 5 to 6:30 p.m., Nov. 30 in the Student Services Building auditorium, Room 110. 

The event is free and open to the public, followed by a discussion with the filmmakers.

This year's films are:

  • Rich Town, Poor Town - Adam Aguilera, Bob Urell and John Hughes
  • Avenue for Opportunity - Mathew Hope
  • Landfills: Problems and Solutions - Amanda Hewitt and Jessie Brown
  • Initiative 901: Is 25 feet too far? - Michael Lee
  • Smoke and Mirrors - Marina Delon and Rosalyn Hart
  • Sectional Controversy - Matt Hagan
  • American Epidemic - Lindsey Njaa and Zack Williky
  • The other side of Immigration - Alice Webber
  • Sam's Movie - Sam Russ
