WSU Vancouver Exhibits Children's Interpretive Art

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Art work made by preschool children in the Child Development Program at Washington State University Vancouver will be on display in the university library gallery through April 24.
The artwork created by the CDP children, from ages 3 to 5, shows their curiosity and creativity. The children have used both traditional and non-traditional art media in unique ways, always exploring and experimenting as they go. There will be examples of creative art, and art that focuses on fine art, photography, literature and nature.
The Child Development program serves a diverse group of families. The CDP students are children of WSU Vancouver faculty, staff, students and other Clark County residents. The children represent a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. Their artwork reflects their individuality and personal interpretations of the world around them.
Entry to campus exhibits is free. WSU Vancouver Library is open Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Parking is available at parking meters or in the blue lot for $3.
