VANCOUVER, Wash. - Washington State University Vancouver is hosting Online Deaf Education Endorsement Information Night from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. March 19, in the Administration building, room 129. Attendees will receive information about the new online endorsement being offered by WSU Vancouver for teaching children with hearing loss. This event is free and open to the public.
The new program launches this summer and is designed for teachers and education students who want to expand their careers with the ability to teach children with hearing loss. WSU Vancouver's endorsement program is the only one in the region that offers students the opportunity to prepare to teach in auditory/oral, English-based sign or American Sign Language classrooms. Deaf education is a growing field and teachers are currently needed.
Parking is free in Orange Lot 2.
