Internships
The Department of Human Development at Washington State University Vancouver has an active internship program that partners with many local organizations. This active partnership provides our students with a wide range of opportunities from which to choose. This allows students to gain professional field experience in their area of interest.
Students pursuing the B.A. in Human Development are required to complete a supervised internship experience. A minimum of three credits is required for the major; a maximum of four credits will count toward satisfying major requirements. Additional internship credits (HD 495 and/or HD 498) may be taken, but will be counted as general university elective credits that will count toward satisfying the 120 semester hours required of all students for graduation.
