I study waves, currents and sediment transport in the coastal ocean. In the long run, an improved understanding of these subjects might help engineers to design better coastal structures (such as jetties and breakwaters), and might help managers to plan for such problems as coastal pollution, flooding, and erosion.
Interested in doing an Master of Science Degree studying coastal water flows or sediment transport?Take a look at a flier advertising the program, an overview of my lab's research, the WSU Master of Science program, and the GK-12 scholarship program.Send me an email if you have questions, or if you plan to apply for the program. |
