Research and Teaching Interests

  • I am currently conducting qualitative research on the Hutterites to determine parenting and family relationship patterns. This research involves quality and quantity time in the field, living with participants. I am also studying never married Hutterite women.
  • I have begun a qualitative investigation of the personality profile of single, never married women over the age of 35. Semi-structured interviews will be conducted, and participants will also fill out a personality profile survey to determine if there is a general profile of this newly prominent societal demographic.
