Mitzi Ang President hr.pres.wsu@gmail.com The President presides at meetings, abides by the chapter bylaws, and functions in every respect as our chapter's chief executive officer. The president is responsible for guiding the officers in developing the chapter's goals and objectives.
Vacant Vice President hr.vp.wsu@gmail.com The Vice-President presides over chapter meetings in the president's absence, oversees the functioning of all chapter committees, and tracks our club's progress at attaining the SHRM Chapter Merit Award.
Kathy Allen Secretary hr.sec.wsu@gmail.com The Secretary records and distributes the minutes of all meetings, conducts the chapter's correspondence, and keeps accurate membership records.
Kalin Storm Recruitment/PR Coordinator hr.recruit.wsu@gmail.com The Recruitment/PR Coordinator is in charge of membership outreach, including recruiting new members and keeping in touch with current and former WSUV HR Society members.
Jamie Hayes Treasurer hr.treas.wsu@gmail.com The Treasurer is the custodian of the chapter's funds. The Treasurer keeps accurate accounting records and gives regular reports regarding the chapter's financial status. In addition, the Treasurer is responsible for collecting all local dues or chapter fees from the membership. The Treasurer assists the other officers in preparing an annual budget and in preparing special funding requests.
Vacant Event Coordinator hr.ec.wsu@gmail.com The Event Coordinator is in charge of organizing speakers for the upcoming academic year, by assessing student interest in various topics and recruiting HR professionals who have expertise in those areas. Program Coordinators may also assist in organizing club fundraising and service activities.
Dr. Tahira Probst Faculty Advisor probst@vancouver.wsu.edu The primary function of the faculty advisor is to contribute to the development of the HR Society and it's student leaders. It is also the faculty advisor's duty to serve as the primary liaison between the club and the Society for Human Resource Management.
Angie Sperandio-Hart, PHR SWHRMA Chapter Liaison asperandiohart@yahoo.com The primary function of the SWHRMA Chapter Liaison is to serve as the intermediary between our club and it's sponsoring local chapter, the Southwest Washington Human Resource Management Association. The liaison should facilitate networking opportunities and encourage HR professionals in the area to support our students.
