Brain awareness Events. OHSU Brain Awareness events continue! Are you shaped more by your environment or by the genes you inherit? The old debate of Nature vs. Nurture has become Nature via Nurture. Scientists now claim human beings are the product of the interaction between genes and the environment. Join us for our 2006 Brain Awareness Season where our lectures and events will feature some of the top neuroscientists in the country studying this cutting edge field.

Neuroscience for Kids has been created for all students and teachers who would like to learn about the nervous system.

Brain Awareness Week The Dana Foundation is a private philanthropic organization with interests in brain science, immunology, and arts education. It was founded in 1950.

Bats Resources:

Grades k-6 : Bat Conservation International has a good curriculum - in-depth background information on bat myths, anatomy and scientific classification, plus a 30-word glossary. Their website has some of the best information on bats.
