Description: This course focuses on the functions
of tissues, organs and organ systems in a variety of animals to understand how
animals operate in their environments. Students will explore general principles
of human physiology in hands-on laboratories using modern physiological data
acquisition equipment. The course is designed to encourage students to think
critically about current physiological questions.
Class Information: Much of the
information given in this class will be available on this web site. Consider
this web site to be your major source of information throughout the semester.
The Class Schedule tells you the
topic covered in each lecture and lab, provides pdf versions of the Powerpoint
lecture material and lists due dates of each required assignment. This site

discover you have plagiarized on an assignment, that assignment will receive a
grade of zero. Further, the matter will be sent to Student Services for further
disciplinary action. Students may receive a failing grade for the class if
plagiarism is found.
