ENGL 373 - Global Literature in English in the 20th & 21st century
This course will examine the formation of the canon of transnational literature in the age of globalization. Fanon, Apter, and Damrosch will serve as the starting points to explore the concepts of hegemony and identity formation and the intersection of global capitalism and literature, language and translation.
