The Poverty Banquet at WSU Vancouver is intended to raise awareness of issues related to local and global poverty.
</p>
<p>
Upon arrival, guests (or groups of guests) will be randomly assigned to dine in one of three groups representing world income classes. 
</p>
<p>
Presenters from the Luepke Loaves &amp; Fishes meal center and Mercy Corps will discuss issues related to local and global poverty and hunger.
</p>
<p>
This event is sponsored by Civic Engagement, Student Diversity, and ASWSUV. Special thanks to Billygan’s Roadhouse, Round Table Pizza, and Fred Meyer.
