A Celebration of alternative representations of vampires, Women’s Studies Women in Popular Culture and the student senate.

Impersonate your favorite fictional vampire character from a literary work, a Hollywood film, or a T.V. series and win an iPod shuffle while you take a break from your mundane routine. Join us in collectively re-creating an anarchist vampiric utopia for a day! Dress up and express your ideologies about representations of alternative vampiric sexualities, gender ambiguities and/or comment on heteronormative representations of current vampires in popular culture. Think you look like Edward from Twilight, well come on down and compete to win! Want to break conventions and re-create your own representation of female vampires? dress up and make a statement.
