Scholarship Opportunities

The School of Engineering and Computer Science has the following scholarships specifically designated for its current or prospective students:

Name: Columbia Machine Scholarship
Award: 2 scholarships at $1,000 each
Special
Criteria:
  • Seeking a degree in engineering
  • Undergraduate student
  • Minimum 12 credits of upper division course work per semester

 

Name: Glenn Terrell Endowed Engineering Scholarship
Award: $500-1,000
Special
Criteria:
  • WSU Vancouver student
  • Minimum 9 credits of upper division course work per semester
  • Seeking degree in engineering
  • Demonstrate a successful academic record
  • Demonstrate financial need
    (equal weighting to academic performance and financial need)
  • Scholarship may be renewable

 

Name: Glenn Terrell Endowed Computer Science Scholarship
Award: $500-1,000
Special
Criteria:
  • Seeking degree in computer science
  • Undergraduate
  • Demonstrate a successful academic record
  • Demonstrate financial need (equal weighting to academic performance and financial need)
  • Minimum 9 credits of upper division credits per semester
  • Scholarship may be renewable

 

Name: Hewlett Packard Endowed Scholarship
Award: $200-1,000
Special
Criteria:
  • WSU Vancouver School of Engineering & Computer Science undergraduate student
  • Strong preference given to women and/or members of under-represented groups in the fields of science, engineering, and computer science
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Full-time student (minimum 12 credits per semester or quarter equivalent)

 

Name: WSU Vancouver Engineering Scholarship
Award: $500
Special
Criteria:
  • Incoming WSU Vancouver junior
  • Preference given to females; then open to all other incoming juniors
  • Minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering program
  • Full--time student (minimum of 12 credits per semester)

 

Name: School of ENCS Faculty and Staff Scholarship
Award: $500

Special
Criteria:

  • Incoming WSU Vancouver junior
  • Enrolled in the Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering program
  • Minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Full-time student (minimum of 12 credits per semester)
