Center for Youth Workforce Preparation

Center for Youth Workforce Preparation

THANK YOU for your participation and support of our Center for Youth Workforce Preparation programs.

Due to budget constraints we will be closing operations effective June 30th.

We held our final Do the Math program on April 24th and May 1st by welcoming over 300 high school students and teachers to the WSU Vancouver campus. Thank you to our many community partners for again providing meaningful sessions about careers and opportunities.

Our 4-H Connections and 4-H Teen-Works spring sessions will conclude early June. Thank you to our school partners and instructors for exciting classes in Robotics, Video Production, Photoshop, Video Animation, and Alternative Energy/Wind Power.

Thank you for your calls and emails regarding the Summer PaCE Academy. We will not offer the weeklong program this year but sincerely appreciate your interest and support. Special thanks to the WSU Vancouver and WSU Extension faculty and staff who worked with our community partners to provide this experience for over 300 middle school and high school students.

Best wishes from the CYWP staff for a great summer.

Sincerely,

Mike Holroyd, Director
WSU Vancouver/WSU Extension
