Public Safety Off Campus Incident Report

WSU Vancouver is providing a courtesy investigation and report for the Clark County Sheriff's Office regarding a malicious mischief incident on NE 29th Avenue.

A vehicle owner reported that their vehicle, while parked overnight on 11/17/2011 near campus on NE 29th Avenue was damaged by gun shots. Upon investigation, WSU Vancouver Police confirmed the vehicle received damage in the form of several bullet holes.

While this event occurred off campus and in Clark County, WSU Vancouver Police is conducting an investigation and report as a courtesy to the Clark County Sheriff's Office.

Initial investigation recovered some evidence and indicates this appears to have been a random act of malicious mischief using a firearm. WSU Vancouver was never in danger from this event and no ongoing danger to WSU Vancouver is expected.
